FABIAN ALOISE (SWING)
Fabian comes to Legally Blonde the Musical direct from We Will Rock You (Dominion Theatre) where he was Dance Captain and Understudy Rebel Leader. Originally from Canada, Fabian migrated to Australia when he was awarded a full scholarship to train at the Victorian College of The Arts (Bachelor of Fine Arts). His first professional engagement was at age fifteen working with Liza Minnelli in The Day After That (Video for amfAR).
Other theatre includes: Jerome Robbins’ West Side Story (Australia/New Zealand); Cats (Germany), Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame (World Premiere Cast - Berlin); Chicago (Original German/Swiss Company); Fosse (Original European/Japanese Tour as Dance Captain and the Spirit of Bob Fosse); Dave Stewart’s rock musical Barbarella (World Premiere Cast - Vienna); Cliff in We Will Rock You (Dominion Theatre); Dance Captain and understudy Joe Vegas in Fame (Shaftesbury Theatre) and most recently was involved in the original choreographic workshop of Flashdance The Musical for Arlene Phillips. Fabian has also worked alongside Ann Reinking as Associate Choreographer and Dance Supervisor on the US tour and two international companies of Fosse and is also Assistant Choreographer on the UK tour of Fame.
Choreography includes; Steel Pier (directed by Ian Good); Pippin (directed by Timothy Sheader); The Mikado (directed by Chris Lain) and And the World Goes ‘Round (directed by David Newman) all for Arts Educational School. Pia Dowes live in Amsterdam (Choreographer); Broadway Can Bounce (Assistant Choreographer, Vienna) and The Garden Behind the Moon (Assistant Choreographer, Hamburg).
