SHERRIE PENNINGTON (SWING)

Sherrie made her West End debut at the age of 14 in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Palladium), as well as appearing in numerous pantomimes and summer seasons. She went on to train for three years on the Musical Theatre course at Laine Theatre Arts.

Theatre includes: Hello, Dolly! (Open Air Theatre) directed by Timothy Sheader; The Music Man (Chichester Festival Theatre) directed by Rachel Kavanaugh; Cinderella (Old Vic); The Drowsy Chaperone (Novello Theatre); The Wonderful Rock and Roll West End (UK Tour), understudied and played Belle in Beauty and the Beast (Dominion); played Maria and Rosalia on numerous occasions in West Side Story (National Tour); Betty Palmer in Babes in Arms (Cardiff Festival); Belle, Babette and Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast (National Tour); Rosie in Sweet Charity (Sheffield Crucible); Lisa in Mamma Mia! (Prince Edward) and spent two years in the award-winning Mel Brooks musical The Producers (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane).

Workshops include: The Count of Monte Cristo directed by Lindsay Posner and The Lord of the Rings directed by Matthew Warchus.

Television includes: The Laurence Olivier Awards; The Royal Variety Show and Blue Peter.
